At 9:20 pm on May 27th, 1995, gather friends and family around you. Place
this mandala score in the exact center of the performance space with
the
cardinal direction points of the mandala aligned with the cardinal
direction points of the performance space. Form a circle in the
performance
space with those gathered. Have each member of the circle,
while still maintaining the circle, turn and face southeast, the point on
the
horizon where the exact center of the Milky Way Galaxy is now
rising. While holding hands, meditate on the good work those
gathered
have done over the past ten years; the lives touched, the work encouraged.
Turning toward the center of the
circle with each member facing the
circle's center, listen deeply to the room and those in the room
without
making a sound. Listen to your mind's eye and to your heart's
space. Meditate on the next ten years,
the closing of the millenium, the
start of a new era and the new works which will
come into being. When
all is still and quiet,
sing the world into existence. Hmm
