This recent O.O. Disc release pairs films from two of Niblock's projects: one looking at the movement of people doing everyday work in China; the other, looking at natural phenomena, sunsets. Two pieces of Niblock's music are presented: Early Winter, for massed sounds of instruments and synthesizers, and First Performance, for multiple English horns.
A sixty minute tape of excerpts from concert productions at Experimental Intermedia Foundation from 1986 through 1988. This series of concerts has been produced continuously since 1973. The series boasts over six hundred performances and represents more than three hundred composers and artists. This video tape contains two to four minute samples of the work of nineteen composers: Warren Burt, Joseph Celli, Nicolas Collins, David First, Ellen Fullman, Malcolm Goldstein, Daniel Goode, Shelley Hirsch with David Weinstein, Earl Howard, The Hub (Chris Brown, John Bischoff, Mark Trayle, Tim Perkis, Scott Gresham-Lancaster, Phill Stone), Peter Kotik, Guy Klucevsek, Ron Kuivila, Mary Jane Leach with Camilla Hoitenga, Christian Marclay, Phill Niblock, Ned Rothenberg, Elliott Sharp and Susan Stenger.

Composer and filmmaker, Niblock was born in Indiana in 1933. Since the mid-60's he has been making music and intermedia performance at venues like The Museum of Modern Art, NY; the Whitney Museum; Wadsworth Antheneum; the Kitchen; the Paris Autumn Festival among others. He has received grants from the Guggenheim Foundation, NYSCA, and the NEA. He is a professor at the College of Staten Island, CUNY, and is director of music and intermedia programs at Experimental Intermedia Foundation.
