Star Strangled Banner - This version of the Star Spangled Banner is sung in the key of the most disruption for the Long Tube and voice. Long Tube with "LiSa" - LiSa is a program developed by Steim which allows the performer to sample sounds during the performance and to play them back. Live from the Faulturum - This improvisation was recorded in Osnabruk, Germany in June, 1999. The Faulturum is a twenty story, hollow cement structure designed to store sewage and convert it to usable energy.

Long Tube Trio on Tellus 27, Mini Mall

A multitrack vocalization through a custom-made instrument. The result is an eerie, multiphonic study using a fluttering microtonal scale. Brenda Hutchinson

Brenda Hutchinson's work as a sound artist has included performance and compositions for dance, opera, film, video and radio. She has built interactive exhibits and installations. Her work makes extensive use of language, stories, ambient and sampled sounds. Brenda has worked as a video producer, exhibit builder and sound consultant at the Exploratorium in San Francisco and as an engineer and instructor at Studio Pass in New York City.
